Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is a drip edge profile and what is it used for?
A drip edge profile forms the finish at the edge of a balcony or terrace. It channels rainwater away from the building structure in a controlled way and permanently protects screed, flooring and façade from moisture and frost damage.
What material are the Renoplast profiles made of?
Renoplast balcony and terrace profiles are made of weather-resistant aluminium. Aluminium is corrosion-resistant, durable, UV-stable and low-maintenance – ideal for permanent outdoor use.
Which floor coverings are the profiles suitable for?
There are matching profiles for thin-layer resin floors, glued coverings (e.g. tiles and natural stone) and loose or floating coverings on pedestals. Each product description states the suitable build-up.
How are the profiles installed?
Depending on the type, the profiles are glued or screwed and completed with connectors, corner pieces and end caps to form a continuous system. Matching mounting and sealing accessories are available in the respective categories.
From what order value is shipping free?
From an order value of €250 we ship free of charge within Germany. Below that, the shipping costs are shown transparently in the cart.
